Examination & Evaluation Systems
The Examination Cell at GIT manages and coordinates all MSBTE theory, practical, and oral evaluation processes. The cell is equipped with a digital scanning infrastructure to upload answer sheets and manage results database systems.

MSBTE Examination Guidelines
- **Allowed-to-Keep-Term (ATKT)**: A student is promoted to the next year of study if they have backlog papers in not more than 3 subjects from the immediate previous academic year.
- **Grace Marks**: Standard MSBTE grace mark regulations apply to help students pass borderline grades, up to 1-2% of overall theory marks.
- **Malpractice Penalty**: Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, or written chits into the exam hall will lead to immediate cancellation of all papers and debarment for 2 succeeding terms.
Photocopy & Revaluation Process
Students unsatisfied with their MSBTE theory examination results can apply for verification, photocopy extraction, and revaluation of their answer booklets:
- **Verification of Marks**: Verification of answer sheet totals (Application fee: ₹ 150 per paper).
- **Extraction of Photocopy**: Obtaining a scanned copy of the evaluated answer script (Application fee: ₹ 400 per paper).
- **Revaluation**: Systematic reassessment of the answer script by senior external moderators (Application fee: ₹ 600 per paper, applicable after photocopy extraction).
